United Heart Training Center

The United Heart Training Center (UHTC) is focused on nursing education for both new and experienced nurses.

For new nurses, we are here to help you get clinical experience through internship programs and supporting didactic learning to build on the knowledge you have gained in your RN programs.

For experienced nurses who are looking to earn some CEU's to maintain your professional status, we have courses that range from one and two days - to use as refreshers, or to grow your expertise.

If you are interested in becoming an ER/Trauma nurse - we have a post graduate program that includes both extensive didactics, and a 3 month internship in a Trauma / ER Unit in California.

If you are a recent grad - we have a new program that involves both didactics and an internship, to help you gain experience in a hospital setting.

For more details, please click on "Courses" above and select the course you are interested in.

DUE TO COVID-19, all courses have been postponed until further notice.

We are located in Fairfield, California. Our classes are kept small (12 and under), so as to maximize teacher-student interaction and provide high quality instruction.

Classes are taught at Brandman University Campus in Fairfield, CA.

We are an approved Continuing Education Provider through the Board of Registered Nurses (CA) - Provider #17281.

Our Commitment To You:

We aspire to conduct ourselves with an unwavering commitment to our core values:

The Mission of the Lawson-Thomas Medical Education Center is to improve patient safety and advance healthcare education through practical hands-on multidisciplinary training. The medical community is increasingly turning to high-fidelity patient simulators to train healthcare staff on procedures and skills they infrequently use. Medical simulation is an effective means of recreating medical and emergent care situations without jeopardizing the safety of real patient.
